We take CBCT and OPG referrals from practices across Liverpool and Merseyside. Send the referral online, we book the patient in at our Bootle practice and send the images back to you.
If you would rather we carried out the treatment as well, you can refer for implants, oral surgery or endodontics on the same form.

How It Works
Send the Referral
Use the online form and select Cone Beam CT or OPG, with the justification, scan area and IRMER referrer details.
We Book the Patient
We contact the patient directly to arrange the scan.
The Scan
The patient comes to our Bootle practice for the scan.
Files Back to You
We send the images to your practice.
Before You Refer
- Include the clinical justification and what you need the scan to answer
- State upper, lower or both arches, or up to four teeth for a sectional view
- Send any stent or radiographic guide with the patient and tell us how it should be positioned

FAQs
Do you take CBCT scans without a referral?
We only take CBCT scans on referral from a dentist or other clinician.
What will I receive?
We send the full DICOM dataset back to your practice.
Is a report included?
No, scans are supplied without a radiology report, so the interpretation stays with you as the referring clinician.
Can you treat the patient as well?
Yes, you can refer for implants, oral surgery or endodontics on the same referral form.
Do you take referrals from outside Liverpool?
Yes, as long as the patient can get to our Bootle practice for the scan.
