Benefits of Braces

  • Improved Smile: Braces can dramatically improve your child’s smile, enhancing their self-confidence.
  • Better Oral Hygiene: Straighter teeth are easier to clean and floss, reducing the risk of cavities and gum disease.
  • Improved Speech and Eating: Correctly aligned teeth and jaws can improve speech clarity and make chewing food easier.
  • Long-term Oral Health: Early orthodontic treatment can prevent significant dental problems in the future, including issues with tooth decay and jaw development.

What Braces Can My CHild Get?

The options for child braces at Saving Faces Dental Practice have never been more diverse. The type depends on your child’s dental condition, their age, and personal preferences. Our experienced orthodontists will recommend the best fit for your child, from traditional metal braces and ceramic braces to the inconspicuous Invisalign clear aligners.

The Braces Treatment Process

1

Consultation

The first step is a consultation to assess your young one’s teeth and discuss their treatment plan and the types of braces available. We will take impressions to get the right fit for them.

2

Fitting of Braces

Next is the fitting of the braces on your young one’s teeth. These will gradually align your child’s teeth over time.

3

Adjustments

Regular appointments will be scheduled for adjustments to the braces to continue the teeth straightening process.

4

Removal and Retention

Once the treatment is complete, the braces will be removed and a retainer will be provided to maintain the new position of their teeth.
